How do you make vertical conveyance beautiful?- that’s what Huw Watkins Managing Director of NERAK asked us. NERAK are famous within their sector for offering the best possible solutions through a mix of elegant engineering and innovation. Part of the larger German Based NERAK group we were asked to develop an autonomous identity that adhered to the German guidelines.
What we did: Working with the leadership team we developed a set of questionnaires to better understand the company values from top to bottom. We also developed an understanding of competition services and potential customers. Combining these into a succinct positioning we developed an understanding of how the company could differentiate and rolled this out into the identity.
The result: NERAK is often seen as a stoic and reliable tool but the products the company moves around are vibrant and dynamic, with everything from sweets to parcels. Taking the mighty NERAK ‘N’ we sliced it into sections to add dynamism, colouring every sector to represent a potential clients good. Coupling this new ‘peacock’ with an uber Germanic supporting identity we built upon the companies’ new message: ‘Conveying Quality’.
